驚！台灣每5人有1人胃食道逆流 反覆發作食道癌機率是一般人7.7倍
食道癌又奪一命！小心！除了菸酒檳榔，長期胃食道逆流，也會增加罹患食道癌的機會。
根據行政院衛生福利部最新統計，台灣胃食道逆流盛行率高達20％，相當於每5人就有1人有胃食道逆流的困擾；刊登在《美國胃腸病學雜誌》的一項研究指出，反覆出現胃酸逆流的症狀，罹患食道腺癌機率是一般人的7.7倍！
提醒你，胃食道逆流突然發作時，可以嚼無糖口香糖，促進唾液分泌，中和胃酸緩解不適。如果反覆發作，請掛腸胃科醫生喔！

大學新鮮人別搶快！ 小心這幾種情況不怕遇三寶
大學開學季即將到來，9月至12月剛好也是年輕騎士肇事的高峰期，為了降低年輕學子發生車禍，交通大隊呼籲新鮮人，除了遵守交通規則、不要搶快，更要懂得「防禦駕駛」，才能避免遇到三寶發生意外。
據北市交通大隊統計，北市今年1月至8月，47人因交通事故死亡，其中機車死亡就占23人，而機車死亡中又有11人為18歲至25歲年輕人，再其中有將近5成是發生在暑假7、8月。交通大隊分析調查也發現，年輕騎士肇事原因的前3名是「未注意車前狀況」、「超速失控」、「駕駛失控、疏忽、操作不當」，多跟速度有所關連。
為了降低大學新鮮人發生事故意外，交通大隊在易肇事或違規超速路段增強取締，也主動製作交通安全宣導影片，在8月底發送北市各大專院校，更在「北市好行、交大隨行」臉書專頁上分享宣傳影片，提醒年輕騎士不只要守法騎車，更要懂得如何自保，降低事故發生機率。
在宣導影片中，交通大隊強調，絕對不要以為他人都會遵守交通規則，千萬別認為周遭駕駛都會看見你，更提醒各騎士要提防「對向左轉車未讓直行車先行」、「同向右轉車未注意直行機車」、「遇到不依號誌指示行駛或闖紅燈的車輛」、「無號誌路口遇到不依規定減速、停、讓的車輛」這類潛在危險的情況，最好的自保方法就是，行經路口時減速並提高警覺，才可以避免意外事故發生。
