 死亡車禍！前統一洋將、天使強打身亡

委內瑞拉傳來令人心碎的消息，37歲曾效力過統一7-ELEVEn獅隊的洋將卡斯提（Jose Castillo）、33歲前休士頓太空人強打Luis Valbuena今（7）日在一場車禍中雙雙身亡，死訊經過兩人同屬的球隊發言人證實。

根據《ESPN》報導，這起死亡車禍是在卡拉卡斯，一同在委內瑞拉職棒亞拉紅雀隊效力的Castillo、Valbuena離開球場後發生，當局聲稱，事發原因是因為閃避落石而衝到對向，駕駛是曾短暫效力過波士頓紅襪的Carlos Rivero，最後Rivero生還，Castillo、Valbuena雙雙身亡。

Valbuena在大聯盟征戰11個球季、1011場比賽，留下3571打席、710安打、114轟、367打點、11盜、374保送、377得分數據，2015球季效力休士頓太空人時擊出25發全壘打是他單季最佳紀錄，今年8月被天使隊釋出後回到家鄉打球。

卡斯提是在2009年5月加盟統一，該季出賽73場交出320打席、91安打、13轟、65打點、20盜壘、21保送、46得分數據，打擊三圍.314／.356／.500，10月初因母親病重離台。

 10軍團視導砲兵基地訓練

陸軍10軍團指揮官王中將昨日前往埔尾營區，視導586旅砲兵營基地訓練情形，了解部隊訓練成效、鑑測期程與課目演練實況，隨後對官兵實施精神講話。

王指揮官表示，透過基地鑑測，得以彰顯部隊作戰效能，並貫徹軍人執行戰訓任務的核心價值，渠等更應在進訓期間，強化專業職能，使部隊戰力更上層樓。

此外，王指揮官強調，每位官兵均要以單位榮譽為重，不可因個人私慾或好奇心，肇生軍紀事件，斲傷團隊軍譽與士氣。
